Acceptable Use Policy
Effective: April 7, 2026
1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs your use of the Jistix platform operated by Borderless Distribution Network, LLC ("Company", "we", "us"). This Policy supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
By accessing or using the Jistix platform at jistix.io, you agree to comply with this Policy. Violation of this Policy may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
2. Prohibited Activities
You must not use the Jistix platform for any of the following activities:
- Shipping prohibited or sanctioned goods as designated by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), European Union sanctions regulations, United Nations Security Council sanctions, or Saudi Arabian sanctions lists
- Facilitating transactions involving sanctioned parties, sanctioned entities, or shipments to or from embargoed destinations under any applicable sanctions regime
- Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent customs declarations, shipping documents, or regulatory filings
- Misrepresenting cargo contents, weight, dimensions, value, or Harmonized System (HS) codes
- Using the platform to facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes
- Processing shipments of controlled substances, weapons, ammunition, or other restricted goods without proper licensing and documentation as required by applicable law
- Smuggling or attempting to evade customs duties, taxes, or import/export restrictions
- Any activity that violates applicable export control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), or equivalent regulations in your jurisdiction
3. System Abuse
You must not engage in any of the following activities:
- Attempting unauthorized access to other users' accounts, data, or any systems or networks connected to the platform
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to extract the source code of the platform or any part thereof
- Circumventing, disabling, or otherwise interfering with security measures, authentication mechanisms, or access controls
- Introducing malware, viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious or harmful code into the platform
- Scraping, crawling, or performing automated data collection or extraction without prior written authorization from the Company
- Interfering with, disrupting, or placing an unreasonable burden on the platform's operation, servers, or networks
4. Rate and Usage Limits
- API rate limits are enforced per account and vary by subscription tier. Current limits are documented in your account settings and API documentation.
- Excessive automated requests that degrade platform performance for other users may be throttled or blocked without prior notice
- Bulk operations (such as batch invoice generation or bulk document uploads) must be performed through approved batch endpoints where available
- Document storage limits are enforced per organization based on your subscription tier. Exceeding your storage allocation may result in upload restrictions until storage is freed or your tier is upgraded.
5. Account Policies
- Each business entity may maintain only one organization account on the platform
- Account credentials (including passwords and API keys) must not be shared with individuals outside your organization
- Multi-user access within your organization must be managed through the platform's team management features, not by sharing a single set of credentials
- Users must register with professional or business email addresses. Generic or disposable email addresses may be rejected at our discretion.
- Accounts must represent real, legally registered business entities. Fictitious or fraudulent business registrations will result in immediate account termination.
6. Content Standards
- All documents uploaded to the platform must be genuine, unaltered, and accurately represent the underlying transaction or shipment
- You must not upload copyrighted material for which you do not hold the rights or have appropriate authorization
- You must not upload content that is offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, or illegal under applicable law
- Document filenames must not contain executable code, scripts, or other potentially malicious content
7. AI Feature Usage
The Jistix platform includes AI-powered features such as invoice generation, document classification, and RFQ data extraction. The following rules apply to the use of these features:
- AI-generated content, including invoices, document classifications, and extracted data, must be reviewed by a qualified person before submission to any regulatory authority, customs office, or counterparty
- Users are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of all AI-extracted data. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated outputs.
- AI features must not be used to generate fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive documents of any kind
- Feedback and interactions with AI features may be used to improve the platform's accuracy and performance. For details on how your data is processed, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this Policy, we encourage you to report it promptly:
- General policy violations: abuse@jistix.io
- Security vulnerabilities or incidents: security@jistix.io
When reporting a violation, please include as much detail as possible: the account or user involved, a description of the activity, and any supporting evidence (such as screenshots or document references).
All reports will be acknowledged within 24 hours and investigated within 48 business hours. We take all reports seriously and will treat them confidentially to the extent permitted by law.
9. Enforcement and Consequences
We enforce this Policy through a graduated response model:
- Warning: A first minor violation will generally result in a written warning identifying the violation and required corrective action
- Temporary suspension: Repeated violations or moderate violations may result in temporary suspension of your account for a period determined at our discretion
- Permanent termination: Severe violations — including fraud, sanctions evasion, illegal activity, or any activity that poses a material risk to the platform or its users — will result in immediate and permanent termination of your account
We reserve the right to report suspected illegal activity to relevant law enforcement authorities, customs agencies, financial intelligence units, or other government bodies as required or permitted by applicable law.
No refund of prepaid subscription fees or account credits will be issued in cases where an account is terminated due to violation of this Policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, applicable law, or platform capabilities. We will notify you of material changes via email to your registered email address at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the Jistix platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not agree to the changes, you must discontinue use of the platform before the effective date.
